100th anniversary of the Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles (URE)

The International Amateur Radio Union (IARU), of which the Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles (URE) is a prominent member, has been uniting national amateur radio societies since its foundation in 1925. It has played a key role in the regulation and development of amateur radio, promoting access to frequencies and defending the interests of amateur radio operators. In 2025, we celebrate its 100th anniversary, coinciding with World Amateur Radio Day on 18 April, providing an opportunity for amateur radio operators around the world to connect and celebrate together.

To commemorate this historic event, URE is launching a special diploma.
