Denmark celebrating HRH Prince Christian

Sunday October 15th all Denmark celebrates HRH Prince Christian’s 18th birthday. For this reason, the Radio Amateur Associations, FRA and EDR will activate Special Event Stations within The Kingdom of Denmark including call signs OZ18CHR from Denmark, OX18CHR from Greenland and OY18CHR from Faroe Islands. In the period from October 9th 00:00 UTC until October 15th 23:59 UTC, these call signs will be active on many amateur radio bands with CW, SSB, RTTY and several digital modes. All bands, HF – SHF, including WARC-bands, and all modes may be used. Every two-way contact or SWL report is valid for the Prince Christian Birthday Award
